Prop List
Here is a list of props that have all featured in our music video.
Instruments are going to be a very influential prop in our music video. To give our music video more of a performance element, we have decided to implement a segment where our band members will be playing certain instruments to the beat of the song. After researching the indie folk genre, i have noticed that instruments in the video are common. Instruments feature in indie songs like The Lumineers "Ho Hey" and Mumford and Sons "Babel". This is why we have decided to include these instruments.
The next prop that will feature in our music video is a car. This will be used to show the audience a brief glimpse of what the couple were like in the past. The car will be used in one of the 'flashback' segments of the video. Where the male character is reminding himself of all the good times he had with the female character.
The final prop that will feature in our music video is a pebble. This will feature in the scene where the couple are throwing pebbles into the sea. We thought to include this scene in our music video because doing something like this is seen as being romantic. This scene will be one of few flashback scenes that occur at the beach. The male character is obviously trying to remember this moment he had with the other character.
