Our Mood Board
By creating this mood board it has given me a better understanding of the Indie Folk music genre. I have seen what sort of instruments, costumes and locations are usually seen in the Indie Folk genre.
As you can see, our mood board is in the shape of a guitar/Ukulele. These are both instruments that are common in Indie Folk music and music videos.
When looking at different pictures of the Indie Folk genre i have noticed that they are near enough all the same colour. Some photos have a purple tint to them where other photos are a dark yellow colour.
Some of the photos in the mood board are of Indie Folk costumes. I have noticed that most of the costumes have patterns of them and are dark in colour. These patterns could relate back to Indie Folks country music back ground
What have I learnt ?
Another that i have noticed with this mood board is the setting used in the indie folk. More often than not, Indie folk music videos are usually set in rural destinations. This could probably link back to the genres background of country music.
